Mr. Thanitphong Rattanaphon, Chief of Phu Chi Fa National Park (Preparatory), announced the reopening of the Phu Chi Fa viewpoint, located on the Thai-Laos border in Tambon Por, Amphoe Wiang Kaen and Tambon Tap Tao, Amphoe Thoeng, Chiang Rai Province, from today (May 19, 2025) onwards. Previously, the park announced the closure on May 5, 2025 for the safety of tourists due to the unrest that occurred along the border in Wiang Kaen District, Chiang Rai Province.
